One Giant Cheeto

Good things:

1. Thanksgiving is almost here. I'm bringing a few of my favorite ladies home with me on Tuesday for a week-long celebration of all things cozy New England. There will be cider, music, bonfires, knitting, and craft fairs. Yes, craft fairs. My parents are cooking dinner for 18 of our closest family members and I plan on cramming as much stuffing down my chow flap as possible.

2. There are now snack bags of Cheetos in the cafeteria every day. Maybe it's because I wasn't allowed to enjoy their greasy orange goodness as a child, but I can't seem to stop eating those little nuggets of joy. I fear I'll turn into one giant Cheeto before finals.

3. While washing my favorite to-go cup last night (because it smelled like rank coffee after lending it to P.B. two weeks ago), I noticed a mug in the sink from the Hyannis Cuddle and Bubble. The Cuddle and Bubble, which my mother affectionately refers to as the "Poke and Soak" is a hot-tub-for-two type place. Don't be fooled by the web site, every time we drive on by it looks like a super-70's porn palace. A cross between an artificial flower garden and Ron Jeremy's master bedroom. Anyway, I think it's absolutely priceless that one of my housemates has paid a visit to the Poke and Soak. Sexy.

Not So Good Things:

1. I've spent the past week battling strep throat. At one point I could actually feel my tonsils touching. Thank God for antibiotics.

2. No kidding, I might actually turn into a giant Cheeto.

3. I am currently wearing dirty jeans, no underwear and a t-shirt that is clean only because it is new. I have no quarters, no detergent and no undies. Help.
